Chanel are Hosting a Beauty Pop-Up in Edinburgh: Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Digital Fashion Editor Eve Fitzpatrick

Chanel is launching yet another exquisitely elegant lip product to add to their world of beauty. And to celebrate the release of their new lipstick, Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche, they are inviting us all to Edinburgh for an immersive beauty experience.

The pop-up is set to launch on the 9th March at number 8 Charlotte Square, and is described as being an “immersive night-time excursion where night owls can discover a curated experience of Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche”.

Included in the pop-up will be a cinema in which guests will be introduced to the Nuit Blanche campaign film. After this, finding your lipstick shade, trying on the new products, and picturing your pout will all be part of the agenda. What better way to discover your new perfect lipstick shade than with the help of the Chanel beauty experts.

There will also be a chance to explore the products used to create the night-time makeup looks worn by Margot Robbie in the Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche Campaign; the first time Margot Robbie has been the face of a Chanel Beauty campaign.

It is incredibly fitting that Chanel are showcasing their new lipstick in the historical city of Edinburgh, as Gabrielle Chanel herself had an adoration for. She formed a strong bond with Scotland both aesthetically and professionally, relishing country and town life alike. Beginning in 1924, when Gabriele Chanel embarked upon a relationship with the Duke of Westminster, spending much of their time in the Scottish Highlands. They would fish, hunt, and play cards, and their relationship influenced the use of Scottish materials and traditions within the fashion house, the iconic Chanel tweeds being a prime example.

I for one will be following in her footsteps this spring by experiencing the newest Chanel immersive beauty experience in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
