AZ FacÂtoÂry is once again supÂportÂing emergÂing talÂents durÂing CouÂture Week, encourÂagÂing a diaÂlogue between younger genÂerÂaÂtion of creÂatives and ritÂuÂals of CouÂture by endorsÂing these up and risÂing designÂers proÂvidÂing them with a team of proÂfesÂsionÂals guidÂing their creÂativÂiÂty through design and ateÂlier processÂes, work to proÂvide interÂnaÂtionÂal and instiÂtuÂtionÂal press visÂiÂbilÂiÂty, as well as marÂketÂing & comÂmuÂniÂcaÂtion supÂport. JenÂny Hytönen’s designs are known for their elabÂoÂrate and highÂly skilled techÂnicÂiÂty paired with sharp imagÂiÂnary. The AZ FacÂtoÂry with JenÂny HytöÂnen SS 2024 CouÂture ColÂlecÂtion was preÂsentÂed on the offiÂcial event calÂenÂdar of Haute CouÂture FashÂion Week. The raw space offered the perÂfect canÂvas to JenÂny Hytönen’s soft-punk designs. As you entered the space, modÂels were minÂgling with the crowd, enjoyÂing the atmosÂphere before standÂing in front of a human-size scanÂner that instantÂly proÂjectÂed their silÂhouÂettes all across the room, covÂerÂing each wall of the conÂcrete space. This immerÂsive expeÂriÂence reflects one of JenÂny Hytönen’s main inspiÂraÂtion for this AZ FacÂtoÂry stoÂry: the future. For JenÂny HytöÂnen, the future is vibrant and diverse rather than sleek and minÂiÂmalÂisÂtic, defined by transÂformÂing someÂthing old, reconÂstructÂing it and makÂing it new again. Clothes have all form on the outÂside and all funcÂtion on the inside. It is about seeÂing through garÂments: the old parts havÂing a sense of hisÂtoÂry havÂing lastÂed and endured time. The outÂcome is imperÂfect but you can see the funcÂtion behind it.
