For the lovers of Twilight and The Vampire Diaries, the gothic fantasy of ABODI Transylvania feels like stepping into a beautifully haunted dream. Emerging from the mystical heart of Transylvania, the brand blends dark romance, aristocratic history and mythical storytelling into a world where fashion becomes fantasy.
Founded by visionary designer Dora Abodi, ABODI Transylvania is deeply rooted in noble Secler heritage dating back to the 16th century, when her family was granted nobility by Prince István Báthori. That ancestral connection to Transylvania’s rich folklore and shadowy legends runs through every collection, with echoes of the infamous Elisabeth Báthori, whose chilling legacy helped shape vampire mythology as we know it today.
But ABODI is far more than historical inspiration. The brand exists within an ever-expanding fantasy universe populated by surreal characters and mythical creatures. At the centre is the Unisus, ABODI’s iconic four-headed dragon, alongside the Cat Mermaid, Animal Souls, the eternal night creature known as the Vampyr, the Moon and Sun King and mysterious Time Travellers. These dreamlike beings come to life through sculptural garments, ceramics and illustrations that blur the line between couture and contemporary art.
ABODI’s vision has captivated the global fashion industry, attracting an impressive roster of celebrity admirers including Cate Blanchett, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, Bad Bunny and Jaden Smith, among many others.
The brand’s hauntingly cinematic aesthetic has also managed to execute its aesthetic by collaborating with artists such as Szilveszter Makó, creating editorials rooted in gothic storytelling to merging playful photography with high-fashion craftsmanship.

Part fashion house, part fantasy realm, ABODI Transylvania continues to build a universe where darkness is romantic, mythology is wearable and every collection feels like a chapter from a beautifully cursed fairytale.
