Milan has always struck the world with elegant women. For SS21, René Caovilla doesn’t just show off its Italian virtues, the designer has decided to honour elegance of the woman. In a new cinematic film, adorned with art and culture, René Caovilla embodies the beauties of the Serenissima district. A gift from the Maison to us, we can enjoy a short film which celebrates the designer’s love for beauty, tradition and values.
In the new Aika collection, signature styles such as the Cleo sandal has been reinterpreted with handmade embroidery inspired by fine jewellery, lavished in pearl and crystal necklaces. The new designs accentuate the elegant and extremely feminine character of René Caovilla’s iconic silhouettes. Cinderella, decolleté made of precious laminated lace enriched with geometric crystals, celebrates the romantic side of the woman who wears them. Mandy, with a dynamic and sinuous, yet minimal and clean design, it perfectly reflects the desire to be simple but unique.
Following from the collection’s inspirations from pearl and crystal necklaces, the brand continues its love for nature as Cecile, proposed for daily wear, are renewed with pearls. Better still, pearls used for this collection are natural river pearls with organic and irregular shapes, giving the sandal a cooler look yet remaining a classic for everyone’s wardrobe.
