Malan Breton Autumn/Winter 2020

Malan Breton ignites his inner flame with his AW20 collection at St Georges Church in Holborn, the collection is inspired by The Firebird Ballet

The pieces are presented in three striking segments. Leading with the softness of blush in faux furs and tulle, followed by glints from Swarovski crystals and reflective fabrics that resemble the embers of the phoenix, when struck with the flashed of beams from the runway. Every piece lives through the electricity of techno fibres.

Bursts of fierce reds in vivid silks are incorporated into the ensembles, adding an intense yet opulent sensation to the collection.

Malan Breton sticks to his statement silhouette of a power suit in signature Breton blue brocades which transition seamlessly into the darkness of black.

The collection explores the techniques of couture but still stays true to the importance of sustainability with the use of up cycled fabrics and the paillettes are made of recycled plastics.

The Rise of The Phoenix is the perfect amalgamation of couture craft and ready-to-wear. A fiery metamorphous, a rebirth, another Malan Breton collection ready to set your soul on fire.
